ABOUT US
SARDO
Soomaal Agency for Relief and Development organization (SARDO) is independent of the state, the municipality, religious, political, and private interests. Its purpose is to help young girls, boys and women who are victims of intimate partner violence and honor-related violence, discrimination and oppression.
The organization is based in Gothenburg- Sweden. Soomaal Agency for Relief and Development organization (SARDO) is a non-profit association consisting of members, a board and employees. The board is elected every year at the annual meeting by the members.
The employees who handle the operational work in the organization have god education and experience of offering help, support and advice and act as a link between the individual seeking help and authorities.
Vision
The association's vision is that everyone is equal before the law and no one is discriminated against.
Mission
To create a just society free from violence and discrimination where all people have the same value, equal rights and where everyone can live in dignity and freedom.

OUR SERVICES
Support activities
We listen and inform about rights, how you as a relative or professional can act and where you can turn for support and help in contact with authorities. We offer support by phone and email
Education or information dissemination
We organize annual trainings around the region to prevent and create greater understanding in society about partner violence and honor-related violence, discrimination and oppression.
Opinion formation
We organize our own opinion-forming activities where the goal is to draw attention to debate and influence issues around partner violence and honor-related violence, discrimination and oppression.
